When you subscribe to R!NGER, we collect:
When you type a street address into Where You Stand, we use it once to find the districts it's in. To do that, the address is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder and, if the Census Bureau can't find it, to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. R!NGER doesn't store the address, doesn't log it, and never puts it in share links. If you then subscribe on that page, we keep only the district identifiers, not the address. Typing a ZIP code on our homepage shows the representatives for that ZIP without sending anything to these services.
Our emails include standard open and click tracking provided by Resend, our email delivery service. This helps us understand which content is useful and which alerts drive action. We use this data in aggregate — we don't build individual surveillance profiles.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Access is restricted to the R!NGER team only.
We keep your data as long as you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your data is soft-deleted (marked inactive). If you want your data permanently removed, email us and we'll delete everything within 7 days.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with ringer.press. This collects anonymous data like pages visited, time on site, and referral source. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. We don't use advertising pixels or share analytics data with advertisers.
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify subscribers by email before the changes take effect.
